Assumption of Risk:

I understand and acknowledge that participating in ocean recreation activities, including but not limited to surfing, paddleboarding, and swimming, involves inherent risks, including but not limited to drowning, injury from watercraft, collisions with objects or other individuals, and adverse weather conditions. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation in such activities.

 

Release of Liability: 

I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue the Organization, its directors, officers, employees, agents, and volunteers (collectively referred to as "Released Parties") from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by me while participating in activities organized or sponsored by the Organization, regardless of whether such loss, damage, or injury is caused by the negligence of the Released Parties or otherwise.

Indemnification: 

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any and all liabilities, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action brought by any third party as a result of my actions or participation in Organization activities.

Medical Treatment Authorization:

In the event of an emergency, I authorize Paddle for Peace and its representatives to obtain medical treatment for me, including transportation to a medical facility, if deemed necessary. I understand that I am solely responsible for any costs associated with such medical treatment.

Photographic Release:

I grant Paddle for Peace and its authorized representatives the irrevocable and unrestricted right to use and publish photographs, videos, or other media taken of me during Organization activities for any purpose, including but not limited to advertising, marketing, promotional materials, and social media, without compensation to me.

Voluntary Participation:
I certify that I am voluntarily participating in Paddle for Peace activities and that I am physically and mentally capable of safely participating in such activities.

Acknowledgment of Understanding: 

I have carefully read this Waiver and fully understand its contents. I acknowledge that I am waiving substantial legal rights by signing this Waiver and that I am signing it freely and voluntarily.

 

Governing Law: 

This Waiver shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of California, USA.

Severability: 

If any provision of this Waiver is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue to be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.
