Divya

Divya grew up in San Diego, California. She is passionate about community building and anything ocean related. Her main hobbies are archery, surfing (aka falling off the board), beach volleyball, making art, and trying different beach bars with friends. 

 

She first found out about Paddle for Peace when she and a friend spontaneously decided to go on a Paddle for Peace Mexico trip that they heard about on Instagram. After meeting and bonding with the Paddle for Peace crew that weekend, 

 

She knew she wanted to be involved in such a cool organization with such amazing people. She chose to continue to be a part of Paddle for Peace to help increase access to the coast for all San Diegans and also meet other people of color who share an appreciation for the ocean and outdoors.
