Delaney Pues

Delaney focuses her work on addressing key environmental and humanitarian issues in the current world. Through community engagement, education, and advocacy, she hopes to increase the awareness of and focus on the intersectionality between the climate crisis and inequality for oppressed groups. Before her time in the climate sector, she generated community awareness and engagement along with fundraising support for programs that provided nutritional food, shelter, education, healthcare access, and counseling to assist and empower orphaned and vulnerable children in Mexico and Nicaragua. Delaney supports the community and donor engagement and education efforts at Paddle for Peace to ensure everyone has access to the benefits and joy of the ocean. As a surfer and environmental justice advocate, Delaney is inspired and driven to mobilize people towards creating a more just and sustainable future for everyone.
