THE RACE IS ON !!
Thanks for your patience guys but it is finally all to-gether packages are up on the p4p site ( http://www.paddleforpeace.org) I have just come back from Fiji after putting more details to-gether for the Air Pacific Blue Water Classic.. I took one of my wooden paddleboards with me and paddled the course for the race from Beqa Island.

It took me 2hrs 30min it was a beautiful paddle, so given the conditions expected in October it will be great down wind run.... We have decided to have a OC-1 race that will start when the paddlers are just over half way to Pacific Harbour, there will be about 35. OC-1s. This race will add to the spectacle of the event and has help with our sponsorship, Colin Philips the Owner of Wai-Tui surf has organised the OC-1s and is doing all the clothing for both events. He is one of the main organisers for Fiji. |

Steve West, Editor and Photographer for KANU Culture Magazine, will be
covering the Paddleboard and OC1 event to be a feature article in the
November issue. KANU Culture is the world's leading Outrigger Canoeing
publication and has recently moved to feature all ocean paddle sports
to become an Ocean Paddler's Lifestyle Magazine. |

Our entertainment will be the very best of Fiji the event manager in Fiji for Paddle for Peace Ltd is Laisa Vulakoro. Laisa's band is called "Vude Vibes" there will be lots more of the best of Fijian cultural groups..
There has been a lot of work gone into putting this event to-gether but it willall be worth it i can assure you all..... Look forward to seeing you all there will keep you posted with press-releases |
