PADDLE FOR PEACE REMEMBRANCE CERMONY KUTA KARNIVAL 12KM. OPEN OCEAN PADDLEBOARD RACE
|
| We have got the photos of the Paddle for Peace Paddleboard Race and the Memorial Ceremony. Included in our program was also a 1200 meter surf rescue board race and a 600 meter ocean swim. Plus we have some great photography of the Kuta Carnival. Kuta Carnival…. A celebration of life; a remembrance of love; that it surely was. It was brought about by an inspired group of ex-patriots and Balinese business and community leaders. It was a mammoth task when considering it was the first carnival of this style to be ever staged in Bali. All involved are to be commended for their efforts, as do the entire Kuta Legian & Seminyak communities. Working at a grass roots level with the Balinese people, they showed me the way with tolerance, compassion and unity. |

At the Des Adat office ( Kuta Village Beach Security ), I experienced the Balinese community working in unison to bring about the best outcome for all involved in the Kuta Carnival. Thank you to all of our generous sponsors and donators. We recognize with gratitude our recent support. This generosity has enabled Paddle for Peace to provide an opportunity for the people throughout the island to work together. To create a future which can be sustained for generations to come. Working together, we can ensure that the destination we reach is the one we seek. Thank you for your generosity and understanding. Kendall J. Lucas Founder / Director Paddle for Peace
